Most of our leathers are tanned using the exclusive
“vegetable tanning” method.
This is a manufacturing process that does not use chemicals,
being able to give to the leather a young ,
living appearance which exalts itself over time.
For centuries, master tanners have handed down this artisan tradition,
enriched over time by sophisticated technology.
This work is a slow process which transforms the raw hides into fine leathers ,
based on the exclusive use of natural vegetable tannins.
TUSCANY
Half calf skins vegetable tanned. European origin.
The tanning process in barrels, thanks to the use of plant extracts of mimosa tree bark or chestnut, gives each skin its own unique color transparency, unique in the natural unevenness of absorption, which is a sign of life and movement.
Each skin is buffered by hand with vegetable and animal oils to enhance the clarity and brilliance.
ETRUSCO

The tanning process in barrels, thanks to the use of plant extracts of mimosa tree bark or chestnut, gives each skin its own unique color transparency, unique in the natural unevenness of absorption, which is a sign of life and movement.
The respect of the times and the above methods of tanning tradition makes possible the realization of skins by a softness never easy to obtain for these types of leather.
These results are enhanced thanks to the hand buffing process which the skin is subjected by hot application of opaque waxes.
The care and love with which the hides are massaged enhance the chromatic beauty of imperfection in the game of transparency that characterize them.
GRASSE
European origin bulls.
The different tanning processes wet blue and the repeated “steps in the barrel” bring to light the characteristics of the whole hides wrinkles. The tincture is made with aniline so as to leave the full grain free and predisposed to a light buffing that highlights the color contrast between the surface and the depth of wrinkles.
This process gives it a velvety effect, and a remarkable softness.
KASHMIR

Each skin is buffered by hand with vegetable and animal oils to enhance the clarity and brilliance.
NABUK
Cattle hides of European origin bulls , tanned with chrome tanned with aniline dye. Protected with water-repellent barrel products. The skins after the normal tanning cycle are machined with a slight grinding that gives it the powdery and velvety effect, in addition to its softness.
RIVER

LOTUS
Shoulders of calf of European origin.
Full-thickness leather, tanned to the vegetable with natural dyes passing through barrels.
The shoulder is the most precious and soft part, where the wrinkles that characterize the naturalness of the skin are most highlighted.
LANCE'
Bull leather of European origin. Chrome tanned , with aniline dyeing process.
Superficial water-repellent treatment to protect the hide.
Water-based varnish , which creates a typical semi-glossy effect.
By simple use of a sponge you can easily remove the dirt .
The wood is a key material of the recent production of Ulivi Salotti ,
always carefully and expertly processed by our skilled carpenters.
Just like the leathers , also the choice of wood essences privileges first and foremost their natural content .
The wooden parts of all our products are made of American walnut, ash,
and other essences which are then entirely finished in an artisanal way,
capable of enhancing that special beauty and warmth that only this material
can express when it is used to furnish an environment.
