THE LEATHER
SENSUALITY AND ELEGANCE
We use “vegetable tanned” leathers, that is leathers processed using tanning products extracted from the bark of trees such as quebracho, chestnut and mimosa. Vegetable tanning requires many days of intense and careful work at the end of which the leather obtained maintains its natural, shiny, brilliant and soft characteristics unchanged over time.
The company is located in the “Comprensorio del cuoio” (the Leather District), the beating heart of the tanning industry renowned worldwide. Here, the age-old art of tanning merges with modern technology, offering a valuable raw material with unique characteristics.

THE WOOD
PRECIOUS SELECTED TIMBER SPECIES
Ulivi products arise from the historic cabinet-making tradition through the use of selected materials such as solid wood and leaves.
From the expert hands of Tuscan artisans, products modeled and finished entirely by hand are born, the support of modern machine tools allows us to create functional and contemporary products that retain a deep connection with tradition.
The chosen woods guarantee a unique aesthetic beauty as well as a resistance that defies the passage of time. Each processing phase is a ritual that honors the richness of the grain, the variety of tones and the unique texture of each individual piece.
The variety of timber species offers a fascinating play of contrasts in our creations. American walnut, with its warm colors, combines harmoniously with softer woods that are used to create the internal sections, combinations that reflect the meticulous attention to technical and aesthetic detail. Other timber species, presented in a varied range of colours, from vibrant brightness to intense black, broaden the customization options for each product.
